Candidate will provide quality help desk support to demanding day traders in the financial district of downtown Chicago. The ideal candidate will support end users by giving prompt and professional resolution of any problems. The candidate will act as a troubleshooter and utilize proper judgment to escalate issues when necessary.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Provide responsive, timely support to support requests and maintain service level agreements on company hardware, software, network and phone systems
This includes setup, troubleshooting, upgrading, proactive maintenance, and repairs.
Support of various customer company hardware including servers, laptops, terminals, desktops, printers and handheld devices.
Support all typical desktop applications including; Windows OS, MS Office, Active Directory, in-house software and e-mail applications.
Responsible for adhering to the company established security procedures.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT procedures, system configuration standards, maintenance and upgrades.
Remote access / VPN, VOIP, anti-virus and security applications experience
