Job Title: IT Project Manager

 

Job Duties:

 

·       Provide technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) guidance on complex and sizable data migration and data integration programs, for large enterprise Oil & Gas operating companies involving on-shore and offshore assets. (Requires current BOSIET Certificate) for travel.

·       Design, develop, and deploy global IT infrastructure and projects for IT hardware and operating systems ranging from laptop/desktop/server to virtualized platforms (VMWare, NetApp, EMC) and back-office infrastructure, Wintel platforms including client Windows and Server.

·       Utilized Capital Value Process (CVP) project management methodology skills to deliver project within scope and budget.

·       Develop and update project plans integrating project objectives, milestones, risk registers and clear deliverables.

·       Analyze long term cost benefits and return on investment on new technologies using MPLS, E1 and D#WAN technology.

·       Develop and manage annual budgets for information technology projects adopting Agile methodology principles to streamline cost, adaptive planning with continuous improvements.

·       Coordinate recruitment of skilled project personnel.

·       Work with Server engineering teams globally to modify configurations to existing Windows, Unix, Linux, AIX, SAN, Backup/Recovery, Data Center, Network Design Architects and firewall teams.

·       Use Configuration Management System (CMS) to monitor modifications within a production environment.

·       Provide SME guidance on the implementation of Microsoft’s Azure cloud hosted Active Directory and Azure AD, MBAM, SCCM and ADD Sync technology to support and manage all client devices within the Enterprise environment.

·       Implement VSAT upgrades to Satellite Communications Architecture through the installation of Altiris / SCCM distribution points, and using C / KA Band, and MEO.

·       Update key database systems for asset management using ALC, EDWARD, SMARTTRAK, CMDB, CMS and Remedy 8.2.

·       Follow BS and OSHA specific site safety standards and ATEX/IECex/CE Intrinsic Safety standards and application in the designing and deployment of complex IT systems in Oil and Gas.

 

 

 

 

Degree Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or closely related field.  Foreign diploma or degree is acceptable.

 

Experience Required:  3 years experience as a Technical Advisor in Information Systems. 

Skill set Requirements (Special Requirements):

 

·       Current Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSINET) certificate.

·       Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in providing technical SME guidance on designing, developing, and deploying global IT infrastructure and projects for large enterprise Oil & Gas operating companies.

·       Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in ATEX/IECex/CE Intrinsic Safety standards and application in the designing and deployment of complex IT systems in Oil and Gas.

·       Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in ALC, EDWARD, SMARTTRAK, MBAM, CMDB, CMS and Remedy 8.2 asset management database systems.

·       Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience with IT hardware and operating systems ranging from laptop/desktop/server to virtualized platforms (VMWare, NetApp, EMC) and back-office infrastructure, Wintel platforms including client Windows, Server (and clustering).

·       Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in providing SME guidance on the implementation of Microsoft’s Azure cloud hosted Active Directory and Azure AD and ADD Sync technology.

·       Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience using Capital Value Process (CVP) project management methodology skills to deliver IT projects

·       Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience applying Agile project management principles.

·       Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in D#WAN technology delivery, strategy and architecture including MPLS, Ethernet,  and E1.

·       Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in Satellite communications architecture including VSAT, C / KA Band, and MEO.

 

Travel Requirements: Domestic travel up to 1 trip monthly to jobsite locations for a maximum of 5 days.  International travel up to 4 trips annually, for a maximum of 5 weeks.

Work Hours:  8:00 am. – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
