James

James is a Digital Workplace Practice Lead with a great talent for large-scale modern workplace transformations and people-centric leadership. With over two decades of experience across global clients, he has a proven track record of architecting secure endpoint solutions and leading diverse DevOps teams through significant migrations.

His journey in IT began with foundational systems administration, quickly evolving into a specialty for complex migrations. From managing the transition of 4,500 users from Windows 2000 to XP, to designing VDI environments for thousands, James has consistently stayed at the forefront of the Microsoft ecosystem. A standout achievement includes being the technical programme lead for a global Windows 11 refresh and a large migration from SCCM to Intune, navigating the complexities of 70,000 users and thousands of business applications while also delivering WDAC and AppLocker.

Beyond technical delivery, James values the human element of this work. Whatever the project, he focuses on creating a collaborative environment and mentoring all team members to get the best from them. 

With deep expertise in Microsoft Windows, Intune, Autopilot, M365, SCCM and Cybersecurity (CE+), James is a versatile professional who bridges the gap between complex infrastructure and user empowerment. 

When not busy supporting clients, James enjoys trekking up mountains and balances his knowledge of the latest new developments with a fondness for retro computing.
