We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Infrastructure Engineer (End User Computing (EUC)) to join our team in Aberdeen. As Infrastructure Engineer you will have advanced knowledge of Modern Desktop computing, including deployment, identity, security, access and policies and will be responsible for technical planning and implementation activities for EUC. The role is based in Aberdeen, hybrid working 3 days onsite and 2 from home.
What you’ll do
- Technical planning and implementation activities for End User Computing (EUC) including the desktop build and design of:
- OS, applications & tools
- Policies and procedures
- Delivery solutions
- Client group policy management
- Technical guidance on EUC elements of IT projects and operations
- Administration and support of Identity services in Microsoft 365
- Administration, support, installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of EUC hardware and software estate
- Create and maintain documentation, including processes, procedures, design & configuration and operating manuals for handover to operational teams
- Project and operational support of the EUC environment
What to bring
- Advanced knowledge of Modern Desktop computing, including deployment, identity, security, access and policies
- Experience of SCCM, AD, Autopilot, InTune and Azure Mobile Device Management
- Understanding of Entra ID, including identities, applications and security elements (e.g. Conditional Access)
- Administration of M365 services, primarily Teams and Exchange
- Knowledge of information security best practices and experience of common security stacks on client devices
- Experience in the Oil & Gas sector
- Excellent technical understanding of the infrastructure being managed and being able to technical plan service improvements through to implementation
- Excellent problem solving and ability to work under pressure
- Work within a controlled enterprise environment and adherence to change management
- ITIL Foundation
