An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Information Management (IM) Content Analyst to join our team in Aberdeen. As IM Content Analyst you will provide support, advice and guidance across functions and assets to promote the efficient management of information in the SharePoint and Network Drive environment.
What you’ll do
- Responding to tickets in Service Now and providing support on request.
- Ongoing support of SharePoint and Network drives to ensure that business information and records are trusted and easily accessible. Tasks are varied depending on requirements but generally encompass elements of:
- Liaising with business users to understand, capture and document requirements
- Implementing changes in SharePoint Online or Network drives (creating folders, libraries, editing pages, changing permissions etc.)
- Data migrations using ShareGate
- Providing ad-hoc coaching, training and guidance to users to drive usage and adoption
- Ensure changes to the Content Management environments are fully documented and the appropriate IS controls are identified and applied as per company instructions
- Providing advice to all levels of personnel across the business and third parties on the storage and collaboration of corporate information and records in a dynamic tech environment
- Liaise with other Digital & IM disciplines, particularly Document Control and Subsurface Data Management to ensure alignment and monitor ServiceNow tickets to closure
- Liaise with other IS colleagues including Infrastructure, Service Desk, Applications and Security
- May be required to carry out tasks from ongoing Information Management projects, on request from project managers or IM SMEs
What to bring
- Previous Information Management experience
- Similar experience within an E & P company is essential, particularly in supporting general business information
- Knowledge of the different business activities and information types across an E&P company
- Good awareness of document/content management tools and technology
- Pays attention to detail, a strong communicator with stakeholder management skills, takes initiative, a team player and flexible to take on a variety of tasks
- Ideally experienced with Information Management in O365
- Ideally experienced with Sharegate
- Experience with Service Now desirable
- Ability to act proactively, escalating as required
- Strong documentation and skills (verbal & written)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
