Due to continued growth we are looking for ITInfrastructureProjectManagers to join our team in Aberdeen on a hybrid working basis. Successful candidates will have a strong background of managing large and complex IT projects within an enterprise setting, ideally within Oil and Gas.
What you’ll do
Mobilising and managing projects and change initiatives using formal methodologies and lifecycles
Developing and managing stakeholder engagement, ensuring continuous and clear communications with clients, vendors and stakeholders
Working with project sponsors to develop scope and business cases including financials and project plans
Demonstrating personal flexibility and encouraging flexibility by other team members in pursuit of achieving project objectives on schedule, on budget and to the required standards
Taking accountability, assessing situations and making critical decisions when faced with complex demands and issues that can, and will, arise throughout the project lifecycle
Managing the project visibly against the project plan including schedule and budget, making changes where necessary
Leading and coordinating teams of diverse technical and non-technical resources across multiple geographic sites and engaging effectively with external 3rd party service providers
Managing risk and issues
Providing performance reporting
Ensuring project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored
What to bring
Previous full life-cycle IT projects experience within the Oil & Gas sector would be of benefit, but more important is understanding of how to run large scale IT projects within an enterprise scale environment
Previous Integration project experience would be useful
Strong Microsoft Project skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with users and stakeholders at all levels
Ability to manage stakeholders and internal staff through large scale business change
PRINCE2 certification or equivalent, prior Agile experience beneficial

The salary banding for this role is £60-£80k, £400-£500 pd
