Gavin Morgan

Gavin is a Change and Adoption Lead at prosource.it with particular expertise in productivity coaching. He specialises in bringing people and technology together, ensuring organisations realise the full value of their digital investments.

Considering that he now trains people in the latest workplace technology and is the presenter of the prosource Tech Hacks video series, it might come as a surprise that Gavin didn’t start off in IT. 

His degree in history led him to the museum sector initially, where he developed his communication skills through public engagement and giving tours of archaeological sites. Information management is at the heart of museum work, and this took him into database systems and IT. Gavin also has a background in performing arts and theatre which helps him bring technology to life and deliver complex concepts in simple and engaging ways. Being part of a team and finding ways to engage people are aspects of the job that he particularly enjoys. 

He has been an integral part of many successful transformations, including a multi-year global real estate programme which involved supporting thousands of people to adopt new workplace tools from room bookings to entry systems and workplace apps.

When he isn’t busy trying to think of new formats for the Tech Hacks video series, Gavin is a keen supporter of local independent news and a trustee on the board of his local newspaper. He also enjoys attending professional women’s football matches with his daughter.
