Ready to make an impact from day one? We’re looking for a proactive and capable Information Security Advisor (Risk & Compliance) to join our team in Aberdeen. This mid-level role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and can confidently support both operational and project-based security activities. You’ll be part of a collaborative team working to strengthen cyber resilience, manage risks, and ensure compliance — all while learning and growing on the job.

What You’ll Do

Deliver day-to-day cyber assurance activities across operations and projects
Define and support implementation of security requirements for systems and solutions
Conduct cyber risk assessments, including third-party suppliers
Apply threat modelling to identify risks and recommend mitigations
Support and improve incident management processes
Help ensure regulatory and statutory compliance
Collaborate across teams and with external partners to drive security best practices

What You’ll Bring

Solid cybersecurity experience in a mid-level role
Relevant certifications (e.g. CySA+, Security+) and risk management knowledge
Broad understanding of security tools and frameworks (e.g. NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
A flexible, all-rounder mindset with a willingness to learn on the job
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

This is not a SOC role. We’re looking for someone with a broader skill set who can adapt quickly and contribute across multiple areas of cybersecurity.
