2607 – Network Engineer - Glasgow, Perth or Aberdeen
We have an excellent opportunity for highly motivated and skilled Network Engineers to join our team hybrid working from Perth, Glasgow or Aberdeen. Candidates will have excellent experience of Cisco based routing and switching and experience of Palo Alto firewalls. Working pattern - 50% office and 50% WFH from either Glasgow, Perth or Aberdeen offices.
What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
- Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with other IT professionals within the IT local and HQ teams to meet department goals
- Deliver comprehensive project documentation to support handover to operations
What to bring
- Strong Cisco Network Switching and Routing experience
- Extensive experience working in Network Engineer positions
- Strong understanding of build, test and install of network equipment
- Understanding of Palo Alto firewalls as well as Panorama
- Understanding of SolarWinds configuration and management
- Understanding of Cisco ISE authentication server
- Understanding of producing documentation (HLD/LLD/Testing documentation)
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) Certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
