2926 – Data Strategy & Value Realisation Consultant

This role requires someone who can shape and define the right investments, not simply deliver against an existing plan. We're looking for expertise in business case development, initiative prioritisation, stakeholder engagement and value realisation within complex data-driven programmes.

What you’ll do

• Engaging stakeholders across the business to understand data and information management needs, opportunities and challenges
• Translating priority business initiatives into structured investment papers aligned to the wider Data Driven programme
• Assessing and prioritising initiatives based on strategic alignment, business value, operational benefits, feasibility, risks and dependencies
• Supporting programme leadership with the development of detailed initiatives for future funding and investment decisions
• Building strong relationships with senior business leaders, technical specialists and delivery teams
• Bringing clarity and structure to a complex and evolving programme landscape

What to bring

We're particularly interested in speaking with professionals who have experience shaping data portfolios, developing programme roadmaps and creating investment-ready business cases.

You'll ideally bring:

• Significant experience scoping and defining data and information management programmes
• Experience within major data, analytics, digital or technology-enabled business change programmes
• A proven track record of translating strategic objectives into prioritised initiatives and investment proposals
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with confidence operating at both executive and technical levels
• Experience assessing business value, benefits, dependencies, risks and delivery readiness
• Background working within asset-intensive or large capital delivery environments would be highly advantageous
